My name is Erica Lippert, and thanks for checking out my portfolio. I am a graduate of Oklahoma State University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Media with an interest in Journalism and Public Relations.
I have been published in the Stillwater News Press and completed an internship with the communications group in the athletics department at Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York, for summer 2015. I worked for the OKC Thunder as a Ticket Sales Associate during the 2015-16 season to gain experience in the sport industry at a professional level. I spent one year as a Retention Representative in the Marketing and Sales Office of the Oklahoma State Athletics Department and learned what loyal sports fans want and need out of sporting events.
Although I loved my time in the sport industry, I have taken a step back to pursue another passion of mine… Cosmetology! I am currently working as a property manager during the day and attending cosmetology school in the evenings through Paul Mitchell the School – Tulsa. My expected graduation date is March 2022, and I’m excited to see where the journey takes me! In the meantime, I’ll be keeping my sports blog up and running with blurbs, posts, thoughts and opinions to stay in touch with my first love… SPORTS.
